About the Role

As a cloud developer at Ferroamp, you will work on developing and maintaining our cloud services for connected energy systems. These services handle large amounts of data from installed systems and enable the analysis, optimization, and control of energy usage in buildings.

Your work will include configuration, development, and operation of:

• Kubernetes (AWS EKS)
• AWS services such as IAM, S3, Athena, CDK, and Route53
• Kafka broker and Kafka Streams
• Databases like PostgreSQL and Scylla
• Keycloak
• Avro Schemas with Schema Registry and schema evolution
• Pandas and Scikit-learn
• CI/CD with GitLab

The team also works with machine learning to develop data-driven forecasts regarding energy production and consumption.

Who Are You?

You are an experienced developer who thrives in a technical environment where systems are complex and the demands for scalability and stability are high.

You have a strong technical interest and enjoy working with modern technologies, distributed systems, and data platforms. At the same time, you appreciate collaboration in a team where challenges are solved together and new solutions are developed.

What Can You Do?

You have a relevant higher education and at least 10 years of experience in developing and maintaining scalable cloud services based on open source.

You have experience with several of the following technologies:

• Helm
• Python
• SQL
• Rust
• Prometheus and Grafana
• Jupyter Notebook

You also have experience working with networks and cybersecurity. Additionally, you speak and write fluent Swedish and English.
