We are now looking for an IT Business Partner / Business Relationship Manager to join us at Svevia. The role is broad and involves both IT and operations. The location is Stockholm, but we are also open to other locations where we have offices.

Your mission

As an IT Business Partner / Business Relationship Manager, you will have a broad and cross-functional role, acting as the glue between IT and operations. You will support the entire IT function as well as the business from idea to the point where decisions about solutions and approaches are made.

The role is strategic, tactical, and operational, and you will be the natural entry point for the business's new needs. Based on this, you will handle various issues of varying complexity. Your tasks will vary over time but may include:

  • Ensuring effective management of the business's IT needs

  • Supporting the business's strategies and goals through the preparation of IT initiatives and support in strategic and tactical dialogues regarding IT support

  • Proactively anticipating changes that affect the area's goals, including organizational improvements, technological advancements, and changing organizational needs.

  • Having a holistic perspective on IT delivery and the business's needs, from initiation of issues to services and products being launched and phased out or replaced

  • Driving and preparing investigations, as well as analyzing and producing materials to address company-wide issues regarding a smart, scalable, and sustainable IT environment

  • Monitoring effect goals for implemented business-related initiatives

  • Linking initiatives to the business's goals

You will work closely with another ITBP/BRM, and together you will have extensive contact with and support from architects, product managers, and service area managers. The goal of the role is to increase collaboration between IT and the business, where you will become a speaking partner in the development of the business.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with experience in similar roles (Business Relationship Manager, Engagement Manager, TAM, EA, project manager, or similar) who wants to take Svevia's IT and business to the next level.

You are accustomed to driving business-related development projects and are comfortable with stakeholder management at various levels. Your technical level does not necessarily need to be that of a developer, but you should have a good understanding of applications and implementations in the business, how to create the best conditions, and what effects should be achieved. You have a genuine interest in technology, business development, and operational development, and see a wonderful challenge in the combination of the construction industry and technology. If you also have experience in construction, civil engineering, road operations, and/or industry, it is considered an advantage.

As a person, you are a natural problem solver who enjoys driving issues and bringing things to completion. You like to have many different issues and preparations in the air simultaneously. You have knowledge of change management and are used to various forms of collaboration. You enjoy collaborating, and you create structure as a prerequisite for building structural capital and easily sharing your work.

You communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written, and you handle English professionally.
