Job Description

At the client, you will work with testing in an agile development team where the team collectively is responsible for deliveries while considering the overall structure of the larger delivery framework. You will be part of an initiative that develops and maintains a national IT system within the public sector.

In the team, you organize your own work and collaborate towards common goals in close cooperation with the business. The team is cross-functional and helps each other across competencies to ensure deliveries.

The organization currently consists of about 80 people distributed across several teams, as well as an overarching management function.

You will work with varied tasks focusing on testing in modern development environments, platforms, and tools. The technical environment includes microservices, Red Hat OpenShift, Oracle DB, Angular, Spring Boot, and JavaScript. The work is conducted according to an agile methodology where SAFe is used as a framework.

Although the focus is on exploratory testing, the client prefers that you are a programming-savvy tester with experience in Java, Spring Boot, ActiveMQ/Artemis, SQL, Bash, Git, Kibana, and Jenkins.

You have a strong commitment to testing and quality issues, as well as a developed security mindset. You are accustomed to managing test cases in Jira/Zephyr and can contribute to security and end-to-end testing. Responsibility for data management, test data, and population before test cycles is part of the role.

Experience working in environments based on microservices on Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) is important.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 8 years of combined practical and current work experience in technical testing
• At least 2 years of combined practical and current work experience as a system developer
• At least 1 year of combined practical and current work experience acting as a test leader and/or QA
• At least 4 years of combined practical and current work experience working with testing in microservice-based (OCP) systems
• Certified according to ISTQB – Software Testing Foundation

Desirable Requirements

• Practical work experience with the voting system Valid
• Practical work experience acting as a Scrum Master
• At least 4 years of work experience from working in Scrum teams in a SAFe context
• Work experience from a large authority with at least 10,000 employees
