About the Company
Region Stockholm has the overall responsibility to ensure that everyone living in or visiting the region has access to a well-developed, easily accessible, and reliable public transport system. The Traffic Administration (TF) is tasked with preparing and implementing decisions regarding the direction and scope of a long-term sustainable public transport system. Additionally, we are responsible for the management and monitoring of traffic operations as well as maintaining the functionality, safety, and value of the infrastructure. Every day, more than 700,000 people travel using public transport, including the subway, buses, commuter trains, and local trains.
About the Assignment
As an IT Project Manager for the implementation of new facilities for production, you will be responsible for capturing, coordinating/driving IT-related needs within the framework of the IP project operations and the introduction of new assets. The role serves as a central point of contact between the IP project and the IT organization. You will ensure that the IT perspective is integrated into the projects and that the necessary conditions are created for an effective and sustainable implementation of new facilities.
The assignment involves being the IT Project Manager for the reception of new facilities, where the IT Project Manager is responsible for driving and coordinating the IT implementation of new facilities for production. Collaboration will take place in dialogue with business representatives, financial management, architectural management, managers, and others. The IT Project Manager will handle multiple implementation projects as needed.
The IT Project Manager is placed in the Technology & Traffic Services section of the IT department. The IT Project Manager will manage multiple projects and initiatives within the section as needed.
The assignment includes tasks such as:
- Capturing and analyzing IT-related needs linked to ongoing facility projects and IT operations
- Being an active point of contact between facility projects and the IT department
- Creating an overview of what prerequisite activities are required to enable the implementation and introduction of new facilities from an IT perspective.
- Coordinating and ensuring the impact on IT's areas of responsibility, including systems/services, processes, and resources.
- Together with the IT department, assessing competence and capacity needs based on incoming assets and new requirements.
- Coordinating IT-related issues between different IP facility projects to ensure consistency and efficient resource utilization.
- Being responsible for continuously following up, driving, and reporting deliveries according to agreed plans. Reporting status and any deviations.
Competence Requirements
We expect you to have:
- At least five (5) years of experience in the role of IT Project Manager.
- At least three (3) years of experience in driving IT projects within asset management (construction and real estate industry).
- Experience from two (2) assignments involving managing organizational changes where new systems or working methods have been introduced.
- Experience from two (2) assignments involving actively leading, coordinating, and structuring communication between internal technology and business teams (IT, operations, and management) as well as external suppliers.
- At least three (3) years of documented work experience in system environments where multiple real-time IT systems are integrated to support a business process.
Value-Added Requirements
- Experience from at least two (2) assignments related to procurement within LOU or LUF
- Documented practical experience in implementation, configuration, or further development for at least two (2) of the following types of solutions within asset management:• EAM/CMMS systems, such as IBM Maximo, IFS, Infor EAM, Unit4, or equivalent.• Integrations with GIS platforms, including work with georeferenced asset data.• Sensor and IoT platforms for collecting, analyzing, and utilizing asset data.• Data and information management solutions (Data Governance) related to asset registers, including data quality
- At least two (2) years of experience working in the public sector.
