We are now looking for a dental hygienist who wants to make a difference

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Bengtsfors-Ed, a clinic with two locations, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

The position primarily involves work in Bengtsfors. As a dental hygienist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full competence while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

Your tasks will include:

• Being an important part of the clinic's health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages
• Working individually or in a team with examinations and identifying, assessing, and planning appropriate oral health interventions
• Outreach dental care

Folktandvården Bengtsfors and Ed are located in the picturesque Dalsland region. Currently, we have a total of 23 employees. Competence requirements and profile

• Licensed dental hygienist
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
• Contribute to the development of the operation by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring is part of our development program, which also includes networking meetings, team and communication training, and observation at specialist or general dental clinics.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 14-15 at Folktandvården Bengtsfors.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
