We need to strengthen our dental assistant staffing.

We are looking for positive dental assistants, newly graduated or experienced, who understand the importance of good service and a pleasant demeanor for the Specialist Clinics in Endodontics and Oral Prosthetics, as well as some in Occlusal Physiology in Mölndal.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

At Occlusal Physiology, Endodontics, and Oral Prosthetics in Mölndal, you will meet patients aged teenagers and older with varying degrees of care needs. As a dental assistant with us, you play a very important role in ensuring that patients feel welcomed and secure during their visit.

Your duties include:

• collaboration with specialist dentists where you assist in clinical work.
• planning with dental technical labs
• handling patient and referral administration as important parts of the job
• opportunity for independent patient work

We are part of the Specialist Clinic for Occlusal Physiology, Endodontics, Oral Prosthetics, and Periodontology, where assisting staff have some cross-specialty tasks. This allows you to gain knowledge from several other specialties. The employment rate is 100%, but temporary positions may also be available.

Currently, we have a total of 19 employees. In the Endodontics department, we currently have 1 specialist dentist and 1 dental assistant, in Occlusal Physiology, we have 1 specialist and 1 dental assistant. In Oral Prosthetics, we have 3 specialist dentists and 3 dental assistants. Qualifications and Profile

• Trained dental assistant with a qualification from MYH (Swedish Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in primarily youth and adult dental care with an endodontic and/or prosthetic focus
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to independently manage administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
• As a person, you are creative, empathetic, and have a good sense of service
• Contribute to the development of the organization by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly graduated dental assistants. Furthermore, you will receive strong support from our experienced assistants and specialists.

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic.
