We are now looking for a dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and a positive attitude

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Bollebygd, you will meet patients of all ages with varying care needs.

As a dental nurse with us, you play a key role in creating a welcoming and safe visit for patients. You will have the opportunity to use your full competence, while the position requires both creativity, empathy, and a strong sense of service.

We work with a positive attitude where teamwork and business development are central parts of our daily routine. We appreciate challenges and innovative thinking, and strive to involve all employees in the clinic's development. Our clinic opened in June 2015 after a complete renovation and has 6 modern treatment rooms. We are a team of 4 dentists, 3 dental hygienists, and 7 dental nurses, located in the heart of Bollebygd, near the transport center.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting in examinations and treatments
• Working with your own patients in prophylactic treatments, onboarding, oral health advice, or acclimatization treatments
• Working in the sterilization area and reception

Qualifications and profile

• Trained dental nurse with education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Ability to independently manage administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly trained dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for week 13.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
