We are now looking for a dental nurse who understands the importance of good service, collaboration, and a positive attitude

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

At Folktandvården Lilla Edet, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dental nurse with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will use your full competence while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service. Moving forward, we wish to develop a more delegated working method.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting during examinations and treatments
• Working with your own patients during prophylaxis treatments, onboarding, oral health counseling, or acclimatization treatments
• Working in sterilization and reception
• Participating in preventive oral health work among elementary school students or in outreach dental care at nursing homes

Qualifications and Profile

• Qualified dental nurse with education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Proficiency in the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to independently manage administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. Interviews are planned for weeks 13 and 14.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
