About the Position

We are now looking for a dental nurse who enjoys working in a delegated manner and has an interest in working at the reception.

We work with a delegated approach in a positive spirit where teamwork and development of the business are natural elements. It is important for us to stay updated; we find challenges and innovative thinking exciting. Flexibility is essential for us, and part of the job includes working at the reception, scheduled or as needed. Many patients want to come to us, and we are in the process of expanding our operations. Our team consists of dentists, dental nurses, health promoters, and administrators.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

At Folktandvården Sylte, the treatment panorama is very broad; here you meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dental nurse with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your entire skill set while the position also demands creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

Your duties include:

• Assisting with examinations and treatments
• Working with your own patients during prophylaxis treatments, onboarding, oral health counseling, or adaptation treatments. Visits are planned both physically and digitally.
• Working in sterilization and reception

Currently, we have a total of 30 employees. We are a clinic that is open Monday to Thursday until 19:00 and Fridays until 16:40. This means we work morning and afternoon shifts.

Qualifications and Profile

Qualified dental nurse with training from MYH (Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)

Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care

Proficiency in the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form

Ability to independently manage administration

Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely

Flexibility

Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do

Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 13 and 14.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
