We are now looking for a dental hygienist who wants to make a difference.

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Falköping-Stenstorp, you will meet patients of all ages with many different care needs. As a dental hygienist with us, you have an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and safe during their visit. You will utilize your entire skill set while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

FTV Falköping-Stenstorp is a clinic with two locations, one in Falköping and one in Stenstorp. The position involves working at both clinics as needed.

Your responsibilities include:

• Being an important part of the clinic's health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages.
• Conducting your own examinations and identifying, assessing, and planning appropriate oral health interventions.
• Outreach dental care at nursing homes may also be part of the position.

We are a clinical training facility and receive students from the dental and dental hygiene programs at the University of Gothenburg. Supervising students may also be part of the position.

Qualifications and profile

• Licensed dental hygienist.
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care.
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely.
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do.
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner.
• Contribute to the development of the organization by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work.

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring is part of our development program, which also includes networking meetings, team and communication training, and observation at specialist or general dental clinics.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 13-14.
