We are now looking for a self-driven dental nurse/Orthodontic assistant who understands the importance of good service and a positive attitude.

Main tasks and responsibilities

The specialist clinic for orthodontics in Trollhättan is a referral center for general dentistry and healthcare. The clinic treats more complex dental issues that require advanced equipment. We have an extensive consulting operation with general dentistry and other specialist clinics, as well as continuous training for general dentistry.

We work in a positive spirit where teamwork and the development of the operation are natural elements. We find challenges and innovative thinking exciting and strive to engage all employees in the clinic's development work. Our clinic is characterized by joy at work, helpfulness, and experienced colleagues.

The position includes, among other things:

• Assisting in examinations and treatments
• Working with your own patients, oral health counseling, bonding braces
• Scanning, panoramic X-rays, photography
• Work in sterilization and reception
• Administration

As a dental nurse with us, you will meet patients with various care needs and of all ages, but especially teenagers and young adults with dental irregularities requiring fixed braces. You will therefore utilize your entire skill set while the position also demands creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

Today, we have a total of 10 employees, including 2 specialists, 1 qualified dentist, 2 ST dentists, and 5 dental nurses/orthodontic assistants. Qualifications and profile

• Trained dental nurse with an education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• If you are not already an orthodontic assistant, you will be offered training for this.
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Proficiency in the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly trained dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR department for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 13 and 14.
