We are now looking for a dental hygienist who wants to make a difference

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Älvängen, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dental hygienist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your entire skill set while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

Your duties will include:

• Being an important part of the clinic's health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages
• Conducting your own examinations and identifying, assessing, and planning appropriate oral health interventions
• Providing outreach dental care in nursing homes as needed

In Älvängen, we work in shifts, which means the clinic is open from 7 AM to 7 PM Monday to Thursday and until 5 PM on Fridays. Currently, we have a total of 17 employees. Feel free to read more about our opening hours and how to find us: Folktandvården Älvängen - Folktandvården

Qualifications and profile

• Licensed dental hygienist
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
• Contribute to the development of the organization by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work.

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring is part of our development program, which also includes networking meetings, team and communication training, and observation at specialist or general dental clinics.

About the recruitment process

The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 13-14.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
