Description

Specialist dental care is represented throughout the Västra Götaland region primarily at five specialist clinics that offer specialist dental care in all specialties.

The orthodontic specialist clinic at Odontologen in Gothenburg provides specialist dental care for children, adolescents, and adults and is part of the LKG team in the Västra healthcare region. The clinic also conducts basic, advanced, and specialist training in the field of orthodontics. The clinic has approximately 50 employees and about 9 dentists in specialist training.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who enjoys varied tasks: own patient practice, teaching in the form of clinical supervision, seminars, and lectures within the various training programs the clinic is involved in. Independent development work/research may also be included. The extent of the different parts can be discussed based on the applicant's interests and may vary over time. The current position may include about 1 day of clinical supervision/teaching within the dental program or within specialist training. The assignment also includes, if necessary, becoming involved in the clinical activities of other specialist clinics in the region.

Qualifications

Specialist dentist in orthodontics. Experience in education/supervision as well as broad clinical experience and familiarity with modern treatment methods are meritorious.
