School Nurse at Skara Municipality

The Role

As a school nurse in our student health team, you will work in a multidisciplinary team at the school together with the principal.

You will have your base at the school but will regularly meet with your school nurse colleagues and the head of student health at professional meetings and workplace gatherings.

You are part of the central and collective student health. Together with the student health team, you primarily work preventively and health-promoting to support students in their schooling. You collaborate with other staff at the school, guardians, and other organizations and authorities outside the school, and you are an important part of the student health team where you contribute your perspective based on your professional area.

It is important for you to focus on the student and collaborate with others to create the best possible conditions for learning and development based on each individual student.

As a school nurse, you have an independent role which means you plan and organize your work effectively. You are flexible and have the ability to prioritize when situations change. You value collaboration with others, which makes you attentive and interested, and you place great importance on building good relationships with students, staff, and guardians.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse with further education as a district nurse, pediatric nurse, or school nurse.
• Experience working as a school nurse.

A driving license (B) is required as work in the municipality's outskirts may occur.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Additional Information

The position is permanent, full-time with start date according to agreement.
