About Us

Welcome to Närhälsan Kärra Health Center! We are located in Hisingen, near central Gothenburg, Kungälv, and Angered.

We are a well-functioning health center with 9,443 registered patients, stable staffing, and good finances. The health center is located near Kärra center, next to beautiful nature and within walking distance from the commuter station, as well as free parking.

Our team includes general practitioners, resident doctors, district nurses, nursing assistants, psychologists, social workers, rehabilitation coordinators, and medical secretaries. We have a laboratory and clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, and child health care. We offer our patients health coaching conversations for support in making changes and adopting healthy lifestyles. We are responsible for elderly care, LSS operations, and also collaborate with Kungälv Hospital.

Together with team leaders and management, we are 26 employees. We have a helpful approach with great commitment and joy at work. About the Job

Your tasks span a wide range of responsibilities in the field of general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and therapeutic in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.

The work involves both acute and planned activities. You will work largely independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration occurs with colleagues and cross-professionally within the team, but also together with other actors such as home healthcare and other specialist care. Together, you are responsible for developing and driving the unit forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so mentoring students is included in your role at the health center.

About You

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training as a district nurse. It is an advantage if you have experience working in primary care and/or have a mentor training of 7.5 credits, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative and is confident in making independent decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and willing to help others. You enjoy teamwork and have the ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener during digital meetings and visits at the clinic. We also appreciate your interest in digitalization and business development.

Other Information

The position is a temporary contract for 6 months. The employment rate can be adjusted based on wishes in agreement with management. Hourly employment may also be relevant.

About the Recruitment Process

The selection process occurs in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call relevant candidates for a phone interview. Then the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
