Just over an hour to Stockholm and just under an hour to Norrköping, it is also not far to the region's airport, the E4 highway, and the railway.

Oxelöskolan was opened in August 2021. From autumn 2025, a new school organization was introduced in Oxelösund Municipality, and Oxelöskolan now has about 350 of the municipality's grades 7-9 students enrolled. The facilities and furniture are new and well-suited for modern teaching. The school also collaborates with the Culture School located in the same building.

JOB DESCRIPTION

For the upcoming school year 2026/2027, we are now seeking staff for a position as a teacher in modern languages, Spanish, with a workload of about 50%, mother tongue Spanish about 10%, and study guidance in Spanish max 10%. You will work closely with other teachers at the school. As a teacher, you will conduct creative teaching and find strategies to reach each student. You will actively participate in the school's development work and collaborate with other school staff to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a certified teacher in primary education with the qualification to teach modern languages - Spanish. Certification in another subject that the school needs is an advantage.

You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and have the ability to individualize teaching based on students' needs. You are a clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create structure, context, and good relationships.

You are solution-focused and have a positive attitude towards school development and understand the importance of teaching being creative and stimulating, while also being based on research and proven methods.

You share our belief that we as a school exist for the student, which means we must adapt to each individual student's circumstances, interests, and needs. You see the positive in each individual and are convinced that everyone has the opportunity to learn, and that your approach as a teacher is one of the most important factors in students' success.

Great emphasis will be placed on the applicant's personal qualities, work initiative, responsibility, and ability to collaborate.
