We are now welcoming a medical secretary to our new care department, a modern and growing operation where you will have the opportunity to contribute to highly specialized care and an important patient flow.
Our department is located on the 9th floor of the new hospital in Malmö, with a fantastic view of the city. The operation has expanded significantly over the past year to meet future needs in kidney care.
Nephrology is part of the business area (VO) nephrology, rheumatology, and endocrinology. The department is a hybrid department, which means we care for both patients who are to undergo or have already undergone transplantation as well as patients with various nephrological conditions. We also have some hospitalist positions and care for patients from surgery and urology.
Within nephrology administration in Malmö, eight dedicated medical secretaries currently work. Together, we are responsible for ensuring that the daily administrative operations run as smoothly as possible within nephrology.

All medical secretaries belong to the same unit and are led by a unit manager. The current position is located in the care department, while the other secretaries are stationed in the dialysis departments and the nephrology clinic.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a medical secretary, you will be responsible for the administrative tasks within inpatient care. You will participate in pulse meetings and work closely with the coordinator to create a flow for admissions and discharges. The work is varied and developing. You will work in the journal system Melior, be responsible for prints in MedsSpeech, manage tasks in PASIS, and play an important role in the registration of visits and contact via 1177. Other tasks include DRG registrations, interpreter orders, and handling referrals and mail.

QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome you who have a recognized education in health and medical care administration, 80 p KY or 400 p YH, or equivalent medical secretary education. You also have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as a good ability to use medical terminology.
It is an advantage if you have previous experience working in Melior, MedSpeech, Orbit, and PASiS, as well as if you have completed DRG training. It is also beneficial if you have previous experience working as a medical secretary.

You have a good overall view and consider the best interests of the operation in everything you do.
