Temporary Social Welfare Officer at the Social Administration

Within the social administration, you make a difference for individuals and the community as a whole. When you work here, you can be sure to engage in meaningful tasks. We investigate and decide on support for children and youth, families, the elderly, people with disabilities, and individuals in need of assistance in various life situations. Together, we work to provide the highest quality of service. One of our employees is going on parental leave, and therefore we are looking for a temporary social welfare officer for our wonderful unit that provides support to the elderly and disabled.

On the unit, social welfare officers, housing coordinators, and unit managers work together.

Your New Job

As a social welfare officer, you are responsible for investigating, assessing needs, making decisions, and following up on interventions in a legally secure manner according to the Social Services Act, aimed at our seniors. Here, we work individually but also collaboratively in teams. We have close leadership and support from two unit managers.

We engage in qualified authority exercise where our approach is a major focus area that is important in our quality work.

Working with us means meeting people in their everyday lives, in their homes, or in hospitals.

We work collectively on development issues as part of our work in the unit and administration. We use Life Care as our operational system and investigate according to IBIC (Individual Needs in Center).

Your Profile

You are a social worker or have another higher education that is deemed equivalent.

You need to have good knowledge of laws and regulations within the area of work as well as good skills in the Office suite.

To thrive with us, we believe you are skilled at expressing yourself well in both speech and writing.

The work requires good collaboration skills while also being able to work independently. You need to be flexible and structured.

Experience in authority exercise within social services may be an advantage.

A driving license (B) is required.
