At the Family Care Unit, we have emergency home secretaries, family home secretaries, child secretaries, and contact secretaries.

We are responsible for recruiting, investigating, and supervising family homes, emergency homes, contact persons, and contact families for children and young people aged 0–20 years.

Our mission is always based on the best interests of the child. We work purposefully to find the best possible match for each child and place great importance on recruiting, supporting, and retaining our contractors.

About the Position

The Family Care Unit has had a clear focus on recruiting emergency homes, family homes, contact persons, and contact families on its own for several years. At the same time, we have developed structured and qualitative support for our contractors, with the goal of creating safe and sustainable placements over time.

Through an engaged and creative recruitment team, we have built a high-quality operation that we are proud of. We continuously work to ensure the best possible match for each child.

Tyresö municipality works based on the Signs of Safety approach, which permeates our work and strengthens collaboration with children, guardians, family homes, and other networks.

We are now expanding our emergency home operations and are looking for an emergency home secretary who wants to help further develop the business and contribute to recruiting and supporting more emergency homes.

Your Role Includes:

• recruiting, investigating, and supervising emergency homes.
• providing support and guidance to emergency homes in their assignments.
• contributing to the development of emergency home operations.
• collaborating with colleagues and other partners.
• documenting and processing according to applicable legislation.

The position is a permanent employment with a start date according to agreement.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker and has experience in public authority work within children and youth. Experience in family care and recruitment work is an advantage.

You have a strong commitment to children and young people and are motivated to contribute to safe and qualitative placements.

Experience in family care and training in New Kälvesten is an advantage.

A driver's license is required as the position involves travel.
