Do you want to be part of our group for children/youth at risk of criminality? You will conduct investigations according to the Social Services Act, work in collaboration based on SSPF and SIG, follow up on outpatient care efforts, as well as HVB and SIS placements.

Permanent placements are handed over to our placement group.

At the Children and Youth Unit, over 40 people work. The unit is led by a unit manager and three group leaders. The unit is divided into 6 groups: reception, two investigation groups, children at risk of criminality, placement group, and foster home secretary group. As close support in case management, there are also group leaders. For us, Signs of Safety is the fundamental approach. Network work and collaboration alliances with families are central to our working method. We continuously use and train in standardized assessment methods such as SAVRY. We are a social, happy, and energetic workgroup where many have chosen to stay over time. We have good cohesion, a strong joint development focus, and order and clarity regarding routines and working methods. Who are we looking for?

  • You are a social worker. Due to the eligibility requirements for the position, no one without a social work degree will proceed in the recruitment process.
  • You have a few years of experience working with authority enforcement in the child and youth area or specific experience working with youth at risk of criminality.
  • You want to work with a clear child perspective and a desire to find solutions together with children, families, and networks.
  • You want to work in a unit with a feedback culture where we help each other grow and get the job done together.
  • You have a B driver's license.

  • You want to contribute to the continuous improvement of the operation by participating in the unit's ongoing development and quality work.
  • You have a good ability to build trusting relationships and create safety for young people in vulnerable situations. With a strengthened focus on well-planned home relocations after placements, we see that you have the ability to structure and plan, as well as maintain close contact with several operations surrounding the youth.
  • You have experience working with Signs of Safety and with authority enforcement regarding youth at risk.
  • You have a good ability to structure your own work.
  • You find it easy to collaborate, create good relationships, and are skilled at communicating and writing.
  • Based on the new SoL where we will work more preventively, competence is required to identify youth at risk early and offer early interventions.
  • Experience from other operations such as schools, fieldwork, or treatment for a better understanding and a holistic perspective on the youth is meritorious.

About the position:
The position is a permanent employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date is according to agreement.
