Analyst at the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority

About the job

As an analyst in the civil preparedness unit, you will work to enhance the preparedness capacity in the financial sector by preparing the sector for crises and war. The tasks include analyzing preparedness risks and the external situation, creating a structure for FI to fulfill its role as the sector-responsible authority, and developing and implementing measures to strengthen the authority's and the sector's preparedness capacity. Part of the work also involves strengthening the authority's own preparedness so that we can perform our most important tasks in all situations. You will collaborate with other authorities and have contact with supervised companies and industry representatives. Additionally, you will represent the authority in dialogue with operators and other authorities, which requires good judgment and the ability to communicate clearly with different target groups. Collaboration with other sectors and the country's defense authorities is also part of the job.

Your education and experience

We are looking for someone who:

has a relevant academic background in fields such as law, economics, or computer science, or has equivalent experience and knowledge
has experience in preparedness work, working in a supervisory or control function in an authority or within the financial sector, or experience in IT/cybersecurity issues
has good knowledge of operational resilience, IT and information security risks, cyber, security protection, or equivalent risks
expresses themselves well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

It is an advantage if you:

have good knowledge of financial companies and the financial system as a whole, as well as the risks they are exposed to
have worked with regulations related to total defense or cybersecurity, or with internal control of cybersecurity issues in audits/supervision
have previously worked in the financial sector
have knowledge of formal requirements for working in an authority.

In this job, you need to contribute to good collaboration and work in a well-planned, organized, and effectively prioritized manner. You are expected to drive your work forward and make decisions within your area of responsibility, while also possessing good analytical skills and the ability to handle complex tasks.
