Operations Manager for Digital Support
Do you want to lead and develop digital support in a socially important organization?
The Social Administration in Järfälla Municipality is in an exciting development phase where digitalization, quality, and operational development are in focus. We are now looking for an Operations Manager who wants to take strategic and operational responsibility for ensuring that our operational systems create real benefits – for the organization and for the residents of Järfälla.
This is the role for you who want to combine management, project leadership, and operational development in a complex and meaningful context.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Operations Manager, you will be the representative of the organization in matters concerning system support and digital development. You are responsible for ensuring that our systems are developed in a structured, needs-driven manner with clear operational benefits.
You will lead and drive the management work forward while initiating and project-managing development efforts from needs analysis to implementation and follow-up.
Your role includes:
- Ensuring that system support aligns with the organization’s processes and goals
- Driving and project-managing development and improvement initiatives
- Planning, prioritizing, and following up on management activities
- Identifying and analyzing the organization’s development needs
- Translating needs into requirements and actionable activities
- Coordinating collaboration between operations, IT, and suppliers
- Ensuring anchoring and effective change management during implementations and releases
- Having overall responsibility for structure, progress, and quality in management and development work.
Examples of Responsibilities
- Leading and coordinating the organization’s system management
- Initiating and driving projects related to digital development
- Prioritizing efforts based on operational benefits and strategic goals
- Developing methods, processes, and utilization of system support
- Following up on effects and ensuring continuous improvement
- Leading a network of super users and key personnel
You will be a key person in translating the organization’s needs into concrete, sustainable, and long-term development.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who
- Has a relevant university degree or equivalent experience
- Has experience in system management, project leadership, or operational development
- Is accustomed to leading development initiatives in complex organizations
- Understands how digital solutions impact work methods, quality, and efficiency
- Is confident in driving issues from analysis to decision and implementation
- Experience in social services or other public sector work is a merit.
