JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a production leader, you will have direct contact with our clients in the prison's production.

Your daily contact with the inmates means that your work contributes to the clients' learning but also encourages them to reflect on their situation.

After an introduction, you will be responsible for the daily operations as a production leader. You will plan, distribute work, and ensure that our deliveries are made on time. You will also participate in the production work yourself. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for production planning. The role of production leader also includes contact with external customers regarding order management.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is secure, stable, and self-aware. You find it easy to collaborate with others and have well-founded and clear values. In stressful situations, you remain calm, stable, and controlled. You have the ability to make correct assessments and priorities. You have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and adapt your way of conveying messages based on the recipient's conditions. You should also have a physical condition that allows you to act physically if the situation requires it.

You are also aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. We are looking for someone who has:

• A completed upper secondary education or another education combined with work experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
• Good computer skills
• The ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in woodworking or mechanical workshops.
• Experience from working in industry, preferably assembly and/or packaging
• Work experience in a supervisory role
• Experience in educational work and motivational work
• Work experience in corrections
• Work experience in security work, social care, psychiatry, or health and care work
• A valid forklift license
• Experience working with a focus on safety in terms of both work environment and client safety
• A B driver's license
