JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main responsibilities will be to develop planning proposals, prepare planning documents (planning maps, planning descriptions, and similar), and manage the planning process of your own planning documents.

In the planning and development unit, five urban planners/community planners work with varied tasks within comprehensive planning and detailed planning. We have different competencies and collaborate to drive the assignments forward. Depending on your experiences and skills, there is an opportunity to adapt the tasks among us. The tasks may include all different parts of the comprehensive and detailed planning processes, digitization of detailed plans, sketch work and visualizations, referrals, and planning materials for programs and guidelines for, for example, center development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in physical planning or equivalent. Previous experience in municipal planning is an advantage but not a requirement. You have good knowledge of the Planning and Building Act and other legislation relevant to the work area. You can independently drive detailed planning processes while also being able to collaborate in larger projects. As a person, you are goal- and result-oriented. You are good at expressing yourself in speech and writing and have extensive computer skills. A driver's license is required for the position. Experience with Geosecma for ArcGIS (you will be developing plans in this environment), the Adobe suite, and working in 3D with modeling and visualization is advantageous.
