The Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated IT/OT specialist who wants to play a key role at the interface between information systems (IT) and operational technology (OT). In this role, you will work closely with production, maintenance, and central IT functions to ensure stable, secure, and future-proof operations of our industrial systems.

The position is both operational and development-oriented, focusing on high availability, cybersecurity, and continuous improvement. You will be a central part of driving technology and our processes forward.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Responsible for the operation, monitoring, and further development of OT environments such as PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial networks
• Ensure safe and efficient integration between IT and OT systems
• Work with IT/OT cybersecurity, including segmentation, firewalls, patching, and access control
• Lead or participate in technical investigations as well as improvement and investment projects
• Perform troubleshooting and manage incidents in production-critical systems
• Collaborate closely with suppliers, the IT department, and various functions within the business
• Establish and maintain documentation, standards, and risk analyses

Your Background

• Knowledge of virtual environments and backup solutions, VMware/NetApp storage
• Experience with virtual environments and backup solutions, including VMware and NetApp storage
• Post-secondary education in IT, automation, industrial technology, or equivalent work experience
• Background in industrial OT environments and a good understanding of networks, servers, and system integration
• Knowledge of industrial control systems such as Siemens, ABB, or Mitsubishi
• Experience in IT security, preferably with a focus on OT/industry, and familiarity with ISA/IEC 62443 or NIS2
• Experience with production systems (e.g., MES, historical systems) as well as project management or technical responsibility in industrial projects
• Good communication skills and the ability to translate technology into business benefits
• Analytical, structured, responsible, curious, and solution-oriented, with the ability to work both independently and in teams
