We are looking for an Operations and Maintenance Manager who wants to contribute to a safe, efficient, and stable production for Region Kalmar County's laundry. As the Operations and Maintenance Manager, you have full technical responsibility for the laundry's machinery. You are responsible for ensuring the machines function optimally, combining strategic maintenance responsibilities with active operational work in daily operations. The role includes planning and implementing both preventive and corrective maintenance within areas such as mechanics, electrical systems, and control technology, as well as participating in procurement processes where the role is responsible for identifying needs and defining technical and functional requirements for new equipment.

You work closely with production staff in a varied technical environment where mechanics, electricity, automation, hydraulics, and pneumatics interact. Our machinery includes industrial washing machines, dryers, ironers, presses, conveyor belts, and a boiler center with associated steam systems, giving you the opportunity to utilize and develop your broad technical competence.

About You

We are looking for you who have at least five years of experience in technical operations and maintenance within process industry, laundry, or similar operations, and who thrive in a technically varied environment. You have a post-secondary education in operations, maintenance, automation, or equivalent experience, as well as good knowledge of mechanics, electricity, and control systems. You are accustomed to working with documentation in maintenance systems.

It is an advantage if you have experience with PLC troubleshooting, automation, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and reading drawings.
