To the maintenance department within district heating production, we are now looking for an Electrical and Instrument Technician.

In this role, you will be part of a maintenance group responsible for all production facilities within the company, with a special focus on district heating.

About the role

Your tasks will include:

• Performing corrective and preventive maintenance of process equipment.
• Working with fire systems, control systems, control and regulation equipment, and installations.
• In consultation with management and operational staff, prioritize, prepare, and plan maintenance work.
• Plan and report work in the maintenance system.
• Assign and handle work orders for selected tasks.
• Work both independently and together with contractors in various projects and maintenance efforts.
• Ensure that facilities are operated according to VME AB's instructions, routines, safety requirements, and current legislation.
• Be responsible as facility operator for fire alarms.
• Ensure that routines and documentation for safe electrical work are followed.
• Perform calibration and control of various types of sensors.
• Be responsible for purchasing materials for stock and ongoing work.

The position includes on-call duties.

About you

We are looking for you who have at least a three-year upper secondary education in the electrical program or other equivalent education. You have experience from similar roles, and it is meritorious if you have worked with maintenance within the process industry. You have knowledge of electrical equipment such as electric motors, frequency converters, switchgear, and SCADA systems.

You express yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. A B-driver's license is a requirement, and you have good computer skills required to perform the work.

The position involves work with important safety issues, which means that a security clearance check may be conducted.

Meritorious:

• Experience with design in El-CAD.
• Experience with work according to ESA.
• Experience from process or manufacturing industry.
• Experience with control and monitoring systems, e.g., ABB 800xA.
