Do you want to help develop tomorrow's water treatment plants, process industries, and infrastructure facilities?

Norconsult is growing and is now looking for an independent electrical and automation designer to join our team, based in Växjö, Kalmar, or Karlskrona. Here, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects alongside driven colleagues and close to our clients. As a designer with technical responsibility, you will work as the lead designer for electrical and automation installations in areas such as:

  • Water and wastewater facilities and water treatment plants
  • Biogas and energy facilities
  • Process industry
  • Infrastructure projects
  • Building automation

You are responsible for ensuring technical solutions, drawing documentation, and project documentation, while collaborating closely with project managers, constructors, and clients throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities:

  • Design of power, control, and automation systems
  • Preparation of technical descriptions according to AMA standards
  • Coordination with other technical disciplines
  • Client contacts and technical advisory

Your profile

You are a responsible, structured, and quality-conscious person who collaborates easily with others, both colleagues within and across technical disciplines, as well as with our clients.

To succeed in this role, you need:

  • Experience in design within electrical engineering and/or automation
  • The ability to work independently and take responsibility for your deliverables
  • Good knowledge of AMA standards
  • Understanding of PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems
  • Good proficiency in Swedish, both written and verbal
  • A valid B-class driver's license

Experience from the water sector, industry, energy, or other process facilities is considered an advantage.
