Do you want to work with technology in a socially important operation where your work contributes to healthcare functioning every day? We are now looking for a plumbing technician for property maintenance at Oskarshamn Hospital.

As a plumbing technician, you will have a varied and developing job with great responsibility. You work both independently and together with colleagues on the installation, service, and maintenance of plumbing equipment and systems in our buildings. The role also includes working with medical technology equipment such as disinfection equipment, as well as preventive and corrective maintenance of other building technical installations. After the induction period, you will participate in our emergency preparedness work, with a response time to Oskarshamn Hospital of no more than 45 minutes.

About you

We are looking for you who have relevant education in plumbing or equivalent competence/experience. With us, you belong to a small work group of seven people with different competencies, so you need to be self-reliant and have a few years of experience in service and maintenance to succeed in the position, preferably from a larger operation. Good IT skills are important because Region Kalmar County is investing in new and modern buildings that involve extensive technology and security. A category B driver's license is a requirement due to emergency service duties and that the position involves some work in our outer areas in the middle of the county.

You are engaged in your work and eager to learn and share your knowledge to develop yourself and our operations. You have good cooperation skills and enjoy meeting people.
