Your responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer at Pentronic, you will have an important responsibility to strengthen and develop our quality work. This role is central to ensuring that we have robust structures and standards for quality engineering, systematic handling of deviations, and risk assessments throughout the entire development and delivery process. You will support the business in meeting customer requirements, legal requirements, certifications, and internal goals, working cross-functionally with product development, production, and procurement.

As a Quality Engineer, you will among other things:

  • Establish and maintain structures for quality work in line with the company’s strategies and ISO standards.
  • Lead the implementation of quality engineering tools to identify risks and prevent quality defects in various parts of the business.
  • Coordinate risk assessments (e.g., FMEA) and ensure systematic risk management.
  • Drive and improve deviation management, as well as support the rest of the organization in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits of processes and systems, and follow up on the implementation of improvements.
  • Support the organization with training, consulting, and continuous improvement work related to quality standards.

Your profile

We believe you have:

  • A relevant technical university degree or equivalent work experience.
  • A good understanding of quality engineering tools and methods such as FMEA, control plans, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Experience working with requirements related to ISO 9001, and being a certified/experienced internal auditor.
  • Experience in systematic quality work in manufacturing/technical industry.
  • Strength in analysis, structure, and documentation.
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.

Merits

  • Experience in driving the implementation of quality processes in a production environment.
  • Experience working according to other types of regulated management systems, e.g., ISO 14001, or experience from more regulated industries.
