Do you want to help develop the industry of the future? We are currently seeking Automation Engineers for several of our clients within the manufacturing industry. Our assignments range from developing new automation solutions and robot cells to optimizing existing production facilities.

Job Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility

As an Automation Engineer, you will work with the development, programming, design, commissioning, and optimization of automation solutions. The assignments vary depending on the client and can range from PLC programming and robot automation to vision systems, simulation, and production development.

You will be a key part of developing efficient, safe, and sustainable production processes together with experienced colleagues and cross-functional project teams.

Depending on the assignment, your tasks may include:

• Programming of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
• Programming, commissioning, and optimization of industrial robots.
• Design and development of automation solutions.
• Integration between machines, robots, and production systems.
• Troubleshooting, commissioning, and optimization of automation plants.
• Work with vision systems and camera-based solutions.
• Simulation and development of digital twins.
• Participation in the development of smart factories and digitized production environments.
• Use of AI and modern digital tools for, for example, programming support, documentation, data analysis, machine vision, production optimization, and predictive maintenance.

Your Profile

You are curious about new technology and see the possibilities with digitalization and AI as a natural support in your work – whether it involves programming, analysis, troubleshooting, or developing future automation solutions.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in automation, electrical power, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with industrial control systems and automation solutions.
• Good knowledge of PLC programming.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Robot programming.
• Design within automation.
• Simulation tools and digital twins.
• Industrial production and manufacturing processes.
• Vision systems and camera technology.
• Welding technology and robotic welding automation.
• Experience with various automation platforms, control systems, or SCADA solutions.
