Do you want to work close to the technology and be a key person in our project deliveries?

We are now looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with a focus on programming and commissioning.

At Norconsult, you will work with the development, implementation, and commissioning of control systems in industrial projects and water/wastewater facilities. The projects vary in size and complexity and are carried out in close collaboration with our electrical designers.

You will become part of an experienced team where we combine programming, design, and commissioning, with your role lying on the systems side. You are expected to take greater technical responsibility in assignments, contribute to structure in deliveries, and support less experienced colleagues when needed.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Programming and commissioning of PLC, HMI, and SCADA
• Troubleshooting, optimization, and further development of existing facilities
• Participation in projects from early design to commissioning
• Customer dialogue and technical support in projects

Your profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has several years of experience with PLC and/or SCADA programming
• Is confident in commissioning and working close to the facility
• Has a structured approach to work and can take technical responsibility in projects
• Thrives in collaboration with both customers and colleagues
