Your Role

Do you enjoy working in a production environment, engaging with people, and switching between operational and strategic issues? Then you could be our next colleague in the production management team and an important part of Saab Barracuda's journey forward.

As a Production Manager, you work with leading, planning, and directing the work on the department. You have overall responsibility for safety, quality, delivery, and team development. You contribute to developing and improving both our production processes and our personnel.

We are now looking for Production Managers for one of our garment departments where we perform sewing of camouflage systems.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead and develop our employees
• Plan ongoing production and production flow
• Drive and follow up on improvement work
• Collaborate with other production management and production technology
• Collaborate with product development and design in the development of materials and products
• Responsible for the department's budget

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, helping individuals grow, and who leads their employees with great will and engagement to achieve expected results. Developing and improving the business by creating involvement and motivation is obvious to you. You are easy to collaborate with and have good leadership qualities.

To succeed in the role, we would like you to have previous experience in personnel leadership, for example as a production manager/group leader/coordinator. It is an advantage if you have previous experience from industry/production.

As a leader, you are clear, engaged, and keen to continuously develop the business and your employees. You should be structured, stress-resistant, communicative, and have good collaboration skills.

Being able to master Swedish and English in both speech and writing is a requirement for this position. Travel within and outside Sweden may occur.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
