Part-Time Firefighter for Anderslöv Station
In Trelleborg, we work together for a growing successful community where it is good to live. Our 61 villages and 21 districts are creative meeting places that bubble with life. Here we want things, tell about them, and come just as we are. This allows us to welcome others in the same generous and curious way.
Welcome to take part in the journey!
The Community Building Administration has now undergone a comprehensive transformation journey that strengthens our ability to contribute to Trelleborg's growth and sustainable development. Since the beginning of 2026, we have a new, modern, and long-term sustainable organization in place, designed to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future with clear direction and high professionalism.
The new structure consists of three departments: The Fire Department, the Building and Environment Department, and the Planning and Geodata Department. Each department consists of two specialized units and is supported by a common secretariat, which gives us good conditions for effective, coordinated, and qualitative work. With our shared forward spirit and our focus on innovation and development, we lead community building in Trelleborg forward. Our work contributes to creating an attractive, safe, and sustainable community for residents, businesses, and visitors.
Since everything Trelleborg Municipality does is based on our values of openness, respect, and responsibility, it is important and crucial that these values are as self-evident to you as they are to us in our work.
The Workplace
The Fire Department consists of a full-time organization and three part-time areas.
The part-time station in Anderslöv is staffed with a crew leader and three firefighters who are on call at home, distributed over four shifts to ensure readiness around the clock. The station handles about 70 alarms per year. In 2025, a new fire truck was added to the station.
We collaborate with Vellinge and Skurup municipalities according to an agreement and cover an area with just over 90,000 inhabitants. This includes a joint administration and management organization located in Trelleborg. In total, we are about 150 employees, distributed over the full-time station, eight RIB stations, and administration. We want to strengthen our team and are now looking for two firefighters for our part-time station in Anderslöv.

Job Responsibilities
As a part-time firefighter, you are an important part of the community's safety and security. The assignment means that you, alongside your regular job or studies, are on call and respond when the alarm goes off. In your role, you will be on call every fourth week. You may be called to many different types of interventions, such as fires, traffic accidents, medical alarms, medical assistance in trauma cases, or incidents involving hazardous materials. The work often involves saving lives, providing first aid, and helping people in vulnerable situations.
In addition to responses, you regularly participate in drills and training to keep your skills current and to develop in the role. A central part of the role is teamwork – you will work closely with your colleagues, and together you form a strength that people in the community can rely on.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has passed the treadmill test, which the Fire Department in Trelleborg can assist you with. The recruitment process also includes employment tests such as swimming tests containing lifesaving elements, height tests at 30 meters, a fear test with a breathing apparatus, and work tests. If you proceed in the recruitment process, you will participate in MSB's school and be trained in Grib 1, followed by Grib 2, with the training concluding with internal training for two weeks. During the training period, you will receive compensation according to the agreement.
For employment, you must be able to be fully dressed in the fire truck at the Anderslöv fire station within five minutes of the alarm. This means that you must live within a catchment area with less than a 5-minute response time to the fire station in Anderslöv, Regeringsgatan 2-4, 231 70 Anderslöv. You have at least a B driver's license, and a C license is an advantage. The work may involve shifts with a high pace and demanding work effort, which is why we are looking for someone who is confident in themselves and a good team player.
