The Department for Supply Preparedness and Risk Analysis is a strategic resource within Adda that gathers expertise in the preparedness area with a special focus on supply preparedness. The department is located at Adda Procurement Central where the main work is carried out, but is also prepared to support the entire Adda. The department is still in the process of being built up, and as an employee, you will have the opportunity to help shape both the working methods and structure of the organization.

We are looking for a preparedness strategist focused on category support. The position involves continuously managing supply preparedness issues in a broader sense, but with a particular focus on the development of and support in implementing various methodological supports to create a robust contract portfolio and customer offerings for Adda's clients.

The main task of the position is to work closely with the category teams to ensure that they practically consider and integrate a robustness and preparedness perspective in the procurements carried out. The support includes all subprocesses that the various category teams work with, from category management to administration and follow-up of contracts. Methodological support needs to be developed and (especially initially) support needs to be provided in the implementation of these, including participation in analytical activities. The position also includes assisting the various category teams with category-specific knowledge development, including category-specific knowledge bases regarding preparedness. The role includes enabling follow-up and evaluation of the effects of the methods and tools used and the measures taken.

Qualifications and Attributes
  • A degree (or equivalent qualifications) in the social sciences, preferably with a focus on defense and preparedness-related issues
  • Work experience in the defense and preparedness area is requested, as well as experience in qualified analytical work. You should preferably have held positions where you had a methodically supportive role for others in your organization (preferably in the form of a consulting role)
  • Knowledge of, understanding of, and a strong interest in the Swedish crisis preparedness system and total defense, as well as preferably how conditions for the market and business affect total defense and supply preparedness
  • Very good security awareness and a good understanding of information security
  • Very good analytical ability, a structured working method, and the ability to work methodically
  • Very good proficiency in the Office package, including experience in producing high-quality pedagogical presentation materials in e.g., PowerPoint
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English
  • Very good collaborative skills, which include the ability to balance the responsibility for business development within your specific role with collaboration and support to others in the team.

It is advantageous if you have experience working in supply preparedness, for example related to procurement and purchasing.

You have a strong interest in practically strengthening municipal and regional supply preparedness. You need to be solution-oriented, curious, and service-minded as the department's role in the organization is to support and create conditions for others to succeed in their assignments. Great value will be placed on the ability to produce pedagogical materials and methodological support, as the role involves practically supporting category managers, contract managers, procurement officers, and others.

You are a team member who enjoys working both independently and in a group. You need to have the ability to independently drive work forward while also reporting back and checking in. You should be able to be pedagogical, unpretentious, and able to balance between accuracy and efficiency. If you enjoy complex and exciting tasks that require you to be both creative and systematic, and not least curious to learn new things, then you will fit in here!
