Arrival Agents

Welcoming people from all over the world, you will guide and assist them throughout their journey at the airport. As an arrival service agent, you will help create reports for lost and damaged luggage. Your demeanor and calmness are the cornerstones of your work. By following airline-specific procedures, you prioritize our customers and their needs in everything you do. As part of the core of our operations, in the role of Arrival Agent, you will meet new people from all corners of the world and represent several different airlines. The job requires a strong sense of service and the ability to thrive and grow in a dynamic and international environment.

Your Role:

• Ensure that messages and reports regarding delayed or damaged luggage are made in accordance with Menzies Aviation standards and other applicable procedures and regulations for the respective airline.
• Be responsible for the registration, administration, and customs clearance of received luggage. Contact with the customer regarding luggage delivery.
• Ensure that passengers are treated correctly and politely, striving for passengers to experience respectful and personal service via letters, direct contact, and phone.
• The work also includes phone contacts with passengers and relevant staff at airlines and airports.
• Take care of passengers arriving at the airport to collect their luggage.

Qualifications:

• Hold a complete high school diploma.
• Swedish and English; fluent in both spoken and written. Other languages are a plus.
• Have good computer skills.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and situations.
• Be reliable and responsible as safety is our top priority.
• Be able to work shifts including weekends.
• Be able to travel to and from Arlanda early mornings and late evenings.
• Be able to account for and prove what you have done in the last 5 years with supporting documentation.
• Be able to work throughout the summer.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a pleasant and positive demeanor.
• Has good physical fitness, as some lifting of luggage may occur.
• Is meticulous.
• Enjoys working shifts.
• Thrives in a service-oriented role.
• Enjoys working in a team but is also good at working independently.
• Previous experience in service roles, especially within Aviation, is a plus.
• Can work on a schedule (no part-time hours).

As an employee with us, you are required to undergo a security clearance through the Swedish Transport Agency in accordance with Airport Regulations, where a satisfactory result is required. To meet these requirements, part of the process is that you can prove what you have done in the last 5 years in the form of references and supporting documentation such as certificates and diplomas.

Start Date: Course start 2025-03-24 or 2025-04-22

Working Hours: Shift work, which means working days, evenings, and weekends. Overtime compensation according to the applicable collective agreement.

Scope: 75% until 2025-08-31 with a great chance of extension!

Location: Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
