Sandvik Group is looking for a Digital Communications Manager to orchestrate and optimize our digital communications strategies. By setting the path forward for our digital channel landscape, you’ll ensure engaging and relevant communications towards all our target audiences, both internally and externally.
Your mission
Our current Digital Communications Manager is moving to new challenges, and we're now recruiting her replacement. As our next Digital Communications Manager, you’re the strategic and operational driving force behind our digital communication platforms. From the overall strategy and web management to social media, SEM, SEO, intranet strategy and other internal engagement tools, your role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities aimed at enhancing our global digital presence. Your role includes leading and coordinating the work of managers or higher professional levels to achieve agreed business and functional results, but in an indirect manner (without line manager responsibility).
You ensure that we stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing and communication to ensure the organization remains competitive and that our brand foundations are present in all digital touchpoints. You’re also a key player in developing and creating the Sandvik branding campaigns, which have been internally awarded at several occasions.
Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Strategize and optimize: Lead the development and execution of cutting-edge strategies for SEO, SEM, social media, and web to ensure maximum visibility and engagement
- Develop digital tools: Oversee the evolution of platforms such as our website, intranet, and digital asset management systems, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience
- Project leadership: Manage new initiatives, like the building and launch of our next-generation intranet, while steering cross-functional collaboration and driving towards our digital "north star"
- Analytics and insights: Use data to inform decisions, refine strategies, and report on performance across digital channels
- Inspire and collaborate: Lead a team of experts by providing strategic direction and fostering an environment of innovation and agile teamwork – without formal managerial responsibilities
- Stakeholder engagement: Align digital efforts with internal and external stakeholders to amplify our brand and meet organizational goals
- Agency management: Evaluate, manage, and collaborate with external suppliers to balance in-house and outsourced needs
Your profile
We’re looking for a senior expert in digital communications, data and analytics, who has experience and curiosity in generative AI, an understanding of IT requirements, and skills in writing and channel management. You are a skilled content creator with the ability of transferring corporate messages and strategies into compelling content. You have vast experience of working with communications at international companies or agencies, and your experience is backed by a relevant university degree. Acting in a global setting calls for excellent skills in English.
