We are looking for permanent Senior/Quantitative Risk Analysts to take Nordea’s credit risk portfolio controls to the next level. The position is located in Stockholm.

About our team

Meet the Rating and Scoring Portfolio Control team. Our role is to develop quantitative portfolio controls to understand developments and behaviors that are core to sound credit risk management to improve Nordea’s credit risk processes.

Our team consists of five highly motivated risk professionals with diverse experiences in the industry, all situated in our Stockholm office. We have a common goal to deliver analysis and decision material that help us understand and visualise the developing credit risks within our portfolios. All this while constantly learning, teaching and supporting each other along the way.

What you will be doing

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the controls that we are responsible for, in relation to rated and scored customer portfolios as well as early warning systems etc.
  • Operate in large data sets using SAS and MS SQL to deliver analysis and controls used in presentations and PBI reports.
  • Help improve business processes to better manage credit risks.

Who you are

This is the right role for you if you enjoy technical challenges and like to impact how we manage our credit risks. We also believe that you are self-driven but at the same time have the ability to work well with others.

Your background and skills include:

  • Academic background within relevant field (e.g. economics, engineering).
  • Experience in working with large data sets.
  • Ability to communicate complex data analysis in a suitable way for various types of stakeholder groups.
  • Experience of or are motivated to learn more about improving business processes.

It would be ideal if you also have experience:

  • With Nordea’s credit risk data landscape and processes.
  • With credit risk and credit risk regulation.
  • Of programming skills in SQL or similar.
