About the Job

In Arvidsjaur, we are close to each other, nature, and a wide range of recreational activities year-round.

The school has students in grades F-3 and an after-school center. About 230 students attend the school, and our ambition is to provide the best conditions for students to succeed in school. With us, teachers, student assistants, special educators, and leisure educators work in teams to best stimulate students' learning development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher with us, you will be part of a team with educators of different competencies. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating your teaching together with your colleagues. In the team, you will develop and adapt the teaching so that all students succeed in school. The teams meet regularly to co-plan, hold student conferences, and engage in pedagogical discussions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is an educated and certified teacher for grades F-3. If you have previous experience working in schools, it is an advantage, but we are also looking for new graduates who want to start their journey with us!

You want to be part of a larger unit and both give and receive collegial learning. As a person, you thrive on being an active part of a team where everyone has different assignments and can, together with your colleagues, gain a broader perspective on students' opportunities for development. You are confident in your teaching role and actively work to create a study environment for our students.

For work with children in elementary school, we will require a background check. Selection and interviews are ongoing, which means that the position may be filled before the application deadline. The temporary position starts on 2026-08-12 and ends on 2027-06-17. In the event of succession, the position may transition to a permanent position.
