We are looking for a teacher for grades F-3 at Smedskolan starting in August 2026.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a teacher, you will plan, implement, and evaluate the educational work both individually and in teams. You will also find strategies to reach each individual student and support them in their knowledge development.

You will collaborate with guardians, colleagues in teams, leisure teachers, resource educators, and student health services.

In your role, you will be involved in creating a safe foundation for our students. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate students to develop their abilities and create opportunities for learning. You should be well acquainted with the school's governing documents and aware of its documentation requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a licensed and qualified teacher for grades F-3.

You have a structured working method and a good ability to design teaching based on students' needs.

You have a desire to develop in your work and will be active in the school's collegial learning. You are flexible, see collaboration as important, and have a solution-focused approach. Knowledge in special education is an asset.

If a qualified teacher is not available as an applicant, an unqualified candidate may be considered for a temporary position. In that case, a high school diploma is required.
