Pajala Municipality is the large (in area) small municipality located in the land of the northern lights and the midnight sun – Tornedalen, in eastern Norrbotten. JOB DESCRIPTION

As a study guide in the native language Portuguese, you will:

• Provide support and guidance to students with Portuguese as their native language in their subject studies in Swedish.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt teaching and ensure that students understand and can benefit from the teaching materials.
• Assist with translation and explanation of educational material in the native language.
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with parents and other stakeholders to support students' development.
• Contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Currently, there is a need for one student in primary school.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Good knowledge of Portuguese and Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Experience working with children and youth, preferably in schools or education.
• Pedagogical insight and understanding of different students' needs and the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple way.
• The ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
• The ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexible, patient, and solution-oriented.
