Job Description

Do you want to combine your expertise in accounting with a role that truly makes a difference? We are now looking for a reliable and committed consultant to strengthen the finance team for one of our key government clients in Uppsala.

As a consultant at Randstad Finance, you will be part of a network of specialists while taking on a deep and responsible assignment with our client. Here, you will work in an environment characterized by high competence and a shared drive to secure Sweden's food supply and health. The office is beautifully located in Uppsala, a pleasant half-hour walk from the city center. The assignment starts in March 2026 and initially extends over six months, with good opportunities for an additional six-month extension.

In this role, you will have a broad and varied responsibility where you are a key player in the daily financial work. Your main focus areas include:

• Qualified Accounting: You will handle everything from accounts receivable and payable to general ledger and bank reconciliations in Unit 4 ERP.
• Analysis & Follow-up: You will prepare decision-making materials, analyze results, and actively participate in budget follow-up.
• Year-end Closing: You will be a key part of the work with interim and annual closings, where your accuracy ensures high quality.
• Development Projects: You will have the chance to contribute your expertise to a specific project related to invoicing and fee control.
• Complex Flows: You will navigate confidently through governmental regulations, manage detailed coding, and make accurate assessments between operating costs and investments.

Qualifications

We want you to have:

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in similar work (with a university degree) or 5 years of experience as an accountant.
• System Knowledge: You are very familiar with Unit 4 ERP (Agresso) and Proceedo.
• Government Experience: You have previously worked with government accounting and understand the specific requirements involved.
• Technical Skills: You are a skilled user of Excel and communicate fluently in Swedish.
• Personal Attributes: You are a team player who is positive, responsible, and enjoys having many points of contact within the organization.
