At Forenede Care, we are looking for you as a nursing assistant who wants to work during all or part of the summer at our cozy nursing home Valkyrian in Tomelilla.

As a nursing assistant with us at Forenede Care, you will provide good care, service, and support to our residents.

Valkyrian is a special accommodation focusing on both dementia and somatic care, with 40 places. Valkyrian is centrally located in Tomelilla, close to public transport, and parking is easily available at nearby locations below the building. The accommodation is set in beautiful surroundings.

With us, you will have competent and dedicated managers who support and develop you in your role as a nursing assistant and in your growth at Forenede Care. We run a company where you grow together with us.

In the role of nursing assistant with us, you will provide care and support based on the client's wishes and in accordance with current assistance decisions, with a strong focus on quality. This includes performing personal hygiene, assisting with meal preparation and serving, responding to alarms, and engaging in social interaction. Social interaction may involve conversations, games, bike rides, music activities, or similar. You may also perform delegated tasks from licensed staff, such as medication administration and training.

As a summer substitute with us, you have good chances of receiving new assignments or permanent employment.

To be considered for the position, you need to:

• Present a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a nursing assistant

• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing

We also see it as an advantage if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care.
