About Us

You will belong to the healthcare administration unit within Medical Specialties. The area of operation includes six clinics: Danderyd Geriatrics, Specialist Medicine, Nephrology, Infection, Internal Medicine, and Dermatology.

We currently have 24 medical secretaries working in both outpatient and inpatient care. Here, there is a strong team spirit and close collaboration across clinic boundaries. As a temporary employee, you will become an important part of our team and receive thorough training to quickly adapt to the role.

About the Position

As a medical secretary, you are a key person in the organization. You work closely with doctors and other healthcare staff and play a central role in ensuring that healthcare administration runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your main tasks include:

• Printing of healthcare documentation
• Diagnosis and procedure coding
• Registration of healthcare contacts/admissions
• Mail and referral management

We work in teams and help each other to meet the needs of the organization. During the temporary position, you will have the opportunity to both contribute your skills and develop your abilities in a broad organization.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Graduated medical secretary/healthcare administrator
• Excellent knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of medical terminology
• Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and Teams
• Ability to quickly learn new digital systems

Meritorious:

• Documented experience and good knowledge in documentation and coding within inpatient care.
• Approved basic course in disease classification (e.g., Emendor).

Employment Form

Temporary employment (substitute) full-time, daytime Monday–Friday. The temporary position is valid until September 30, 2026, with start date according to agreement.
