Job Description
As a business lawyer within the unit for foreign direct investments (UDI), you will work closely with other employees on everything from ongoing support regarding transactions and reporting obligations to deeper analyses of transaction structures, detailed interpretation and application of the UDI Act, as well as the development and follow-up of conditions. The role spans a wide range of competencies and offers opportunities for in-depth exploration of various issues that arise within the unit. You will actively contribute to the development of methods and working practices within your area and the unit. Contacts with other authorities are a natural part of the work.
Qualifications
- Law degree or equivalent legal education in a relevant field such as business law
- Current and relevant experience in legal work within business law, corporate or contract law, information security, the security protection act, or other areas relevant to the UDI Act
- Current and relevant experience from working in a government agency, law firm, consulting firm, or other experience deemed equivalent by the employer
- Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
Meritorious
- Experience of public authority exercise, e.g., through work in an administrative authority, supervision, court clerk experience, or similar
- Relevant experience of working with corporate acquisitions and transactions
- Relevant experience of working with foreign transactions and knowledge of foreign corporate forms
- Experience in method development
- Interest in foreign, security, and defense policy
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who has the ability to quickly understand extensive material and delineate issues in a relevant and effective manner. You work methodically and are used to making necessary priorities to deliver on time while maintaining quality. You have good collaboration skills and can convey complex legal positions clearly.

About Employment at ISP
The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date is according to agreement. The employment includes an obligation to be placed in a war situation.
To work with us, Swedish citizenship is required. The position is classified in a security class, and a security review with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. Since a large part of the tasks involve confidential information, the possibility of remote work is limited.
