Regionfastigheter develops and manages Region Skåne's properties with a focus on creating safe, functional, and sustainable environments for residents and employees. Right now, Region Skåne is making the largest investments ever in Skåne's hospital areas. We develop complex construction projects in sensitive healthcare environments, always with the highest demands for operational reliability. At the same time, we are expanding the infrastructure for public transport with new service depots for buses and trains.

The finance unit at Regionfastigheter currently consists of twelve people. We are divided into two teams, one that supports our operational areas (VO), where we have a total of seven colleagues, and it is in this team that this temporary position exists. The other team consists of five colleagues and works as support for our construction projects. Our unit has a positive work climate and a strong team spirit. We work independently but are always available to support and advise each other. We are located at Dockplatsen in Malmö, and there is also the possibility to work partially remotely. The role may also involve visits to our operations scattered around Skåne.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our operational areas grow and develop, our support becomes increasingly important. To meet the needs, we are now looking for an experienced colleague who wants to contribute to our work!

As a controller at Regionfastigheter, you play a key role in ensuring good financial management, monitoring, and analysis within the organization. You provide close and professional support to the operations. You work independently to support operational managers and property managers who work with the management of both owned properties and leased premises. The work includes participating in the development work of the operations and being advisory and representing the financial perspective.

Your tasks include:

• Qualified work with budgeting, monitoring, and analysis.
• Proactively work on the development of the operations within the financial area to help streamline processes and routines.
• Contribute to the development of Power BI reports for management and monitoring of finances in the operations.
• Analyze costs and identify opportunities for savings and improvements.
• Drive improvement and development work in collaboration with the operations and other support functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree in finance or equivalent education or experience that the employer considers relevant. You have several years of experience in qualified financial work within financial management, financial planning, and monitoring. Experience from the real estate industry is an advantage.

Furthermore, you must have generally good computer skills and very good knowledge of the Office suite. You are an advanced user of Excel. Additionally, you have good experience working in larger financial systems such as Raindance and analytical tools such as QlikSense and Power BI.

You are a structured person with good analytical and solution-focused abilities, where you can both challenge and support depending on the situation and based on the organization's goals. The role requires you to have a strategic overview while also being able to dive into details. Furthermore, you have a communicative and pedagogical ability to convey financial information clearly and understandably. You have a strong service mindset and are motivated to add value to the organization. You are attentive to the needs around you, easily build relationships, and thrive in collaborations while being self-driven and taking your own initiatives. Your engagement and willingness to continuously contribute and develop make you a valued colleague and a reliable support in financial matters. Great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities.
