Development Strategist for Eslöv Municipality

As a development strategist, you will hold a central and strategic position in the Growth Department of the Municipal Executive Office, reporting directly to the Growth Manager. You will be a key person in shaping a long-term sustainable development in Eslöv – a municipality with strong faith in the future and an important role in Skåne's continued growth. We are located in an expanding region with a high pace of housing construction, business establishment, and development of community services, where water issues are a crucial part of the whole.

Your Mission

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for driving and coordinating the municipality's strategic water work. You will work closely with various strategists across the municipality's operational areas related to sustainability and provide support in other areas as needed.

You will, among other things:

• lead and coordinate the municipality-wide water work
• be the contact person for VA-syd in water strategic issues and provide advice in owner-related forums linked to VA SYD
• prepare and present cases to political bodies
• drive the implementation and follow-up of water-related strategies and plans
• coordinate water issues in physical planning and other development processes
• project lead investigations and cross-administrative initiatives

Your Experience

We are looking for someone with a solid foundation in water and community building issues who is accustomed to working strategically.

You have:

• relevant higher education or equivalent experience
• several years of experience working with water strategic issues
• experience in project or process management
• good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish

It is meritorious if you have experience in climate adaptation, water issues at a comprehensive level, or work in a politically governed organization.
