About the workplace
At the City Management Administration, we work on behalf of the municipal council to lead, develop, and coordinate the city's common and strategic issues. We drive development in areas such as HR, communication, and governance – always with the goal of creating value for the entire city of Helsingborg.
In the HR unit, we support not only the managers at the City Management Administration but also those at the Environmental Administration and Property Administration in HR matters.
With us, you will be part of a development-driven, knowledgeable, and engaged team. We consist of a unit with an HR manager and 5 colleagues. Together, we work to provide operationally close, proactive, and qualified HR support to the managers in our operations. Right now, we are on a development journey where we aim to become even better at supporting managers in their personnel responsibilities; the journey will be both exciting and educational.
Job responsibilities
As an HR Coordinator, you will play a central role in providing administrative and operational support within the HR field. Your tasks will include:
- Managing employment administration, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Providing administrative support in various HR processes such as recruitment.
- Administration related to payroll and personnel issues such as scheduling and placement, personnel records, salary debts, record-keeping, and priority rights.
- Invoice management
- Monitoring; producing and analyzing statistics.
- Project managing and developing administrative HR processes and methods across all three administrations.
The role involves close collaboration with both colleagues and the manager in the HR unit and managers in the operations, where you are an important contact person for HR and administrative questions. It is therefore important that you are comfortable communicating clearly and pedagogically, both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in HR, administration, payroll, or economics, or another education that the employer deems equivalent. It is advantageous if you have training and knowledge in agreements such as general regulations and project management training.
You have several years of experience in qualified administrative work within municipal operations and experience with PersonecP. To succeed in your role, you also need to have experience in independently driving and developing administrative processes and methods within the HR field. Furthermore, it is important that you have knowledge and experience working in various digital systems, and it is advantageous if you have experience working in Winlas, Qlik Sense, and invoice systems. To be able to develop and follow up, it is important that you have experience working with statistics and monitoring in various ways. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability based on the requirements since you will be the only one in this role in the unit.
