Engaged Nurse Wanted for Adrianska House
Are you an engaged nurse with a special interest in individuals with cognitive impairment? Do you want to help develop Örebro municipality's specialist housing for this target group? At Adrianska House, you now have the opportunity to contribute with your valuable skills.
About the Position
As a nurse at Adrianska House, you play a key role in creating a meaningful everyday life for our residents. Since we are a specialist housing for cognitive impairment with different focuses, we want you to have a genuine interest in the patient group and feel secure in your role as a nurse even in challenging situations.
You will be responsible for the care of between 8 to 16 residents, but as we are a smaller facility, we help each other and collaborate across boundaries. To create good and safe care, we work preventively in teams with nurses, occupational therapists, nursing staff, and unit managers. We also collaborate with doctors and physiotherapists from the region. The role also involves working with relatives, where you have an important role in providing support and advice. Therefore, we want you to enjoy having many points of contact.
We always work with response strategies first, which allows us to avoid much medication treatment. It is important for us to start from a person-centered and rehabilitative approach with our residents' wishes and needs in focus.
Here you will meet a team that works together on quality improvement with unit managers and quality-supporting nursing assistants. Therefore, we want you to enjoy working with quality and improvement work.
You have the opportunity to become part of an engaged workgroup where your skills and ideas as a nurse are valued!
Examples of Responsibilities:
- decide, implement, and follow up care measures
- be responsible for guidance and training in nursing
- instruct and delegate health and medical tasks to nursing staff
- maintain contact and provide support to relatives
- document in various quality registers and operational systems
- participate in and drive continuous improvement and development of our operations

As a nurse at Adrianska House, you will be part of the Health and Medical Care Organization (HS). All nurses and occupational therapists within the municipality's special housing work under the same organization to create better conditions, equitable care, and safeguard Örebro municipality's health and medical care resources. For you as a nurse, this also means that you will have a manager who is a licensed professional and thus well-informed about the issues you face in your work.
