The pediatric and adolescent medicine department conducts a broad pediatric practice and has high competence in many subspecialty areas. The children's and youth clinic at USÖ is the only specialist care clinic for children and adolescents up to 18 years in the region. We are a wonderful team of about 20 employees. Here, competent and highly engaged staff work in professional teams with varied tasks in a pleasant environment. Diabetes Nurse/Pediatric Nurse, Children's and Youth Clinic, USÖ

You will work as one of three contact nurses in our driven diabetes team together with doctors and several different paramedical professions. The team is characterized by collegial support, close communication, and good collaboration. Diabetes care is in constant development, and exciting research is underway in the field where you have the opportunity to be involved!

We offer a varied job that includes your own outpatient work in diabetes care, joint visits with doctors, education and teaching, sampling, and telephone counseling. With us, you will receive a structured introduction, relevant continuing education, and support from experienced colleagues.

We are primarily looking for you who are a diabetes nurse with experience in type-1 diabetes. You may also have a specialist nursing education in Health and Medical Care for children and adolescents with an interest in further education in diabetes. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and experience.

Good communication and collaboration skills with both patients, guardians, colleagues, and partners are essential. Independence, a sense of responsibility, structure, and empathy are all qualities that are highly valued.
